    A quick update

In the meanwhile, last year (Dec 2015) we released our public beta.

Along with it we also released Voola Talky - the fastest, safest and easiest way to video chat. All chats are 10s long atmost and gets deleted once viewed. Here's a demo video - https://vimeo.com/150471711

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but this reminds me of my days at MS. It was during one of those days when Microsoft Garage was started in Redmond.

Microsoft Garage inspired me to do lot of new things including

    1. SQL Server Management studio Thin Client (manage SQL Server using a browser),
    2. A Parallel API to help run any normal program (with help of parallel algorithms) on GPU and gain upto 100x performance gain. Inspired from SQL Server Operating system (SQLOS)

For me, Social auth is way to get rid of the registration process. Otherwise I do not share any further details asked for.

I am though very comfortable with Github association

A trick question. According to you, are Ecommerce startups founders entrepreneurs or Businessmen?

Look forward to hearing what you plan to do

Simple step (extremely difficult though). Create a Floor 2 worthy product. Get myself to that stage where my voice is heard, then influence others. Basically lead by example.

hobbies are not difficult to cultivate

I agree. My point is that most of us here in India don't have hobbies. Atleast in our times, we were mostly expected to complete studies, secure good marks and extra curricular activities for us meant Tabla Classes or Singing classes as they are considered "sober".

So my question is that now things are changing. But how much? What kind of hobbies does today's youth indulge in?

Now i realize that I might not have been passionate enough to break the rules to try something else. Its easier to blame society and conservative thinking, which I used to do all the time. But if I was passionate enough, I would have broken all rules and setout to achieve what I wanted. Because I faced same amount of hinderance before starting up, but I eventually shunned everything else to startup. I realized thats my passion.

we need all sorts to make the world go round

Can't agree more. But I believe Floor 1 is self sustaining. Ground floor can be helped via National education policies, grants, better infrastructures for inventions etc. Basically there are bullet points that needs to be followed to make this happen. Ofcourse there has to be groups and people working towards them.
But the 2nd floor is the grey area and like a warped time-space continuum where normal laws of business fall apart. Its the area of uncertainty. That is why I want to dedicate my efforts in search of Floor 2 residents.

    shouldn't take Venture Capital either

I think its a bit too stringent. I will rather put it like - "shouldn't expect venture capital easily". But that will/has to change too. Those things get funded elsewhere. They will also get funded here. All it takes is one Facebook/Snapchat from India.

Initially I didn't realize, but after first couple of lines I remembered that I had read that blog earlier. Its just that I read a lot, a hell lot of articles/blogs and I couldn't have missed it :)

You can answer my question if you are building this as a business.
How big is this market. More importantly how fast is this growing?
Can this survive as a standalone product or does it have to be combined with other VIdeo/audio/music platforms where Indie music is an add-on?
