@paraschopra Yes, in Tokyo we have partnered with nightclubs and bars and promote Smoothie there. In London, it is pure organic.

@paraschopra Smoothie has already started gaining traction in Tokyo and NYC. So the initial problem is kind of solved (though it still needs more users). Let's see what happens when the app lands in its home county.

@khitchdee First, we are not promoting any activity like Ashley Madison, if you think it that way. People might end up using it like that.
Second, I already told you about what will happen if we get attacked. I know hacking is a global phenomenon, we did whatever we can do to prevent it and we will keep on evolving. Every company has to go through it.
I think people should be more concerned about apps like Tinder, Coffee meets Bagel getting hacked. They have your real data.

@khitchdee We are not saying that worst can not come of it. Any app, any system can be put in such situations.
Tinder, which stores pics, shared with the world and those pics (specially of female users) can be used by worst kind of persons in worst kind of way. There is nothing Tinder can do about it. We are just trying to eliminate those kind of problems.

@khitchdee We have been in Social Anonymity market for 4 years, there is nothing that we didn't think through. You don't know what goes behind smoothie that is why this is your "initial" analysis.
And also, if the only data that can be leaked will look like "digits -digits-digits-digits" good luck tracking users and suing the system :+1:

@khitchdee There is no personal information that Smoothie stores. All of it is stored on the User's device and if Hackers target Smoothie, they will will only find numbers which won't make any sense. System is designed in such a way that user's can't be identified by third eye in any way. We have our way of identifying them. I hope it clears your doubt.

Running on the Anonymity API of Wizters (https://www.wizters.com), Smoothie (http://usesmoothie.com) is an attempt from the same company (Wizters) in making online dating faster, safer for women and at the same time anonymous.
From preventing users to share private information with the system or other users, Smoothie verifies users only through their selfies (which are not shared with anyone). This cuts out the paranoia among many users that people might see them on a fating site and judge, or even worse, put their pics in front of everyone and let the users judge all at once (like Tinder). Moreover, the focus in making people meet each other instead of spending time chatting.
Smoothie is available for iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/smoothie-blind-instant-dates/id1028897828
