I created an API to convert natural language to filters for retail. It is ready to use and doesn't require any configuration or training by the API users. It is a new stack and not based on 3rd party components like StanfordNLP, lucene etc

Don't have a without-signup option. Was assuming that signing up wouldn't be a big deal for the motivated

Just tried this out. This is really amazing. I had previously Tried alchemy API but This is on whole different level. Kudos . Keep it up.

What do you think are the pros-cons of a signup-free trial?

I don't see any con - you can always prevent abuse by asking people to enter a captcha.
